The implementation of the WMS with Voice Picking at Farmaenlace became a success story

La implementación del WMS con Voice Picking en Farmaenlace se convirtió en un caso de éxito. 

In the pursuit of achieving ever-increasing levels of efficiency and after reviewing several optimization options, Farmaenlace chose Inveligent as its technological partner for the implementation of its Warehouse Management System (WMS), integrated with its Voice Picking Solution for order picking. This system provided the maximum execution speed along with the line-by-line control of the tasks performed. 

Farmaenlace was founded in 2005 through the merger of two prominent companies with a history in the management and distribution of pharmaceuticals: Representaciones Ortiz and Farmacéuticas Espinosa. 

Thanks to the results-oriented approach of its Logistics Manager, Ing. Iván Naranjo, progressive improvements were implemented that led to significant reductions in worker travel distances and the modernization of the Distribution Center operations. 

However, a significant step was needed to drastically improve the performance of the Distribution Center. Indeed, it was about taking a step that would simultaneously enhance productivity and control over the activities being performed.
